Imagine a city with cleaner air, safer streets, and healthier communities. A place where children can play freely, commuters breathe easily, and public policy supports both people and the environment. This vision is steadily taking shape in the City of Manila in the Philippines through the Asia Blue Skies Program. Over the past five years, the program has advanced air quality action by strengthening air quality monitoring systems, promoting sustainable transport, improving waste management practices, and fostering public awareness and engagement. Grounded in science and collaboration, these efforts have helped place air quality at the heart of local governance and community priorities. The Asia Blue Skies Program is implemented by Clean Air Asia in partnership with the Manila City Government and with support from 3M.
