In Russia we travel through Dagestan, Kalmykia and Astrakhan region, documenting sustainable land use, land restoration and the science behind in action — from agrophytomelioration that fixes open sands to conversations on monitoring and scaling solutions. These landscapes show why restoring land is also about livelihoods, stability and hope.
