Transforming Care — Indigenous Breastfeeding, Birth Work, and First Foods Project

First Nations’ Indigenous Breastfeeding, Birth Work, and First Foods project is a vital effort in transforming systems of care by empowering Native women and communities. With 30 grants awarded to date, this project has supported Native women during preconception, pregnancy, post-natal care, and early motherhood. We envision a future of even more Native-led programs rooted in cultural traditions, traditional foods, and community-driven solutions. Join us in supporting the empowerment of Native women to reclaim practices that have nurtured generations. Visit https://www.firstnations.org/ to learn more and support this work.
