Have you ever missed a connecting train and had to shell out hundreds of euros for a new ticket? You aren’t alone. Without an EU-wide regulation on rail ticketing, you aren’t guaranteed to be let on the next train for free in the event of a delay. While several trains operators have a created a joint agreement amongst themselves (the AJC) that would allow you to jump on the next available train for free, not everyone has joined.
