Displacement Patterns in Northwest Syria | MSF

Displacement patterns in northwest Syria vary across affected communities. Some households have remained displaced since the onset of the war, while others were compelled to flee only after facing imminent threats to life and safety. Initially, 67 informal displacement camps hosted over 3,300 families across Harim mountain in Idlib. These camps are marked by severely inadequate shelter conditions, where families live in fragile tents and makeshift structures built from salvaged materials, plastic sheets, and bricks, often with unstable roofs that provide minimal protection against harsh cold weather and other environmental hazards. #syria
