Jeny Pokharel of "Sasane" in Nepal, finalist for the 2026 Vigdis Prize for Women’s Empowerment

Mediabox spoke to Jeny Pokharel, founder of "Sasane – Samrakshak Samuha", one of two finalists for the 2026 Vigdis Prize for Women's Empowerment. 

Based in Nepal, the survivor-led organisation combats human trafficking, child marriage, sexual exploitation and gender-based violence.
