Did you know a simple conversation about periods can change a young girl's life? Seventeen-year-old Suhani, a trained peer educator, is breaking the stigma around menstruation and empowering young girls in Gujarat! Trained at the Adolescent Friendly Health Clinic (AFHC) at Himmatnagar, Suhani conducts engaging sessions to ensure adolescents in her community get the knowledge and care they deserve. The AFHC serves as a safe, private space featuring dedicated Menstruation Corners where girls can access sanitary pads, clean water, and stigma-free counseling and health check-ups.
