The project “Diaspora engagement for sustainable development of Montenegro” has been implemented by the United Nations Migration Agency, International Organization for Migration (IOM), in partnership with the Ministry of Diaspora and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro, with the final aim to contribute to the sustainable development of Montenegro with the human, economic, social, and cultural capital of its diaspora. The two-phase initiative was designed to improve communication and networking between Montenegro and its diaspora at the outset, and then to leverage the human, economic, social, and cultural capital of the diaspora strategically and sustainably.
