Taking Aim at Food Security – Young Leader for the SDGs in Tobago

🇹🇹 Meet Anthurium Lewis of Tobago — one of just 17 young people worldwide selected as a UN Young Leader for the Sustainble Development Goals! 🌎 At just 14, Anthurium launched 'Fruits for Tomorrow', planting native fruit trees across #Tobago with young people to tackle food insecurity and build a greener future. 🌱 Now 17, she's also a six-time national archery champion and child rights advocate, crediting the discipline of sport as the driver behind everything she does. 🏹🥭 From 2025 to 2027, she'll use her UN platform to amplify youth-led solutions that strengthen communities and help protect our planet. On the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace, her story is a timely reminder of just how far sport can take you. 📰Read the article: "Aiming for the SDGs: How archery propelled Tobago teen to lead change" — https://bit.ly/3Or69Yh
