Join us on January 13 as we unveil the findings from the 2025 State of Humanitarian and Development Cybersecurity Report. While the data shows encouraging progress, it also highlights persistent vulnerabilities—and a threat environment that remains constant. During this webinar, our panel of specialists will outline practical strategies for closing the security gaps that put nonprofits and civil society organizations at heightened risk. We’ll walk through the report’s major insights, discuss their implications for the sector, and share our recommendations for driving collective action and encouraging meaningful investment from donors. About the report: Now in its fourth year, this survey-based assessment provides evidence to guide NetHope Members and the wider nonprofit community in strengthening cybersecurity best practices, shaping advocacy efforts, and informing NetHope’s programmatic priorities—especially our Digital Protection Program. This flagship initiative focuses on addressing capability shortfalls and enabling systemic change to help nonprofits build stronger digital resilience. The insights generated through this work also equip the Global Humanitarian ISAC to advance coordinated action on critical cybersecurity challenges across the sector. Nonprofits working in demanding humanitarian and development settings face distinctive security threats, yet many lack the resources to mitigate them alone. This report helps illuminate those challenges and chart a path toward more robust, shared protection. 2025 State of Humanitarian and Development Cybersecurity Report download pdf Speaker Bios Daniela Weber is the Director of NetHope’s Center for the Digital Nonprofit, where she leads research on emerging technologies and guides nonprofits through digital transformation.
