Guttmacher expert Chelsea Polis spoke with @CNN about the Trump administration’s plan to incinerate nearly $10 million worth of contraceptives and the impact of denying these essential supplies to women and couples in low- and middle-income countries. These contraceptives could have helped more than 1.5 million women and couples time and space their pregnancies, some in situations where women are at greater risk of severe complications or death due to pregnancy and childbirth.
