Women Leading Change For Safer Farming and Stronger Communities

Women are the backbone of Cambodia’s agri-food sector, yet many face unsafe working conditions and limited protection. Meet Touch Sorm, a farmer and community leader driving change through Oxfam’s program “Improved Social Protection and Labour Rights for Women Workers in ASEAN’s Agri-Food Sector.” With support from six local partners, the program empowers over 34,000 women to claim their rights, access social protection, and build resilient communities. This initiative is part of the program funded by the Belgium Development Cooperation (DGD).
