Research is increasingly detecting microplastics in many places within the human body. So we decided to find out for ourselves. Microplastics don’t just live in oceans. Micro and nano-particles and associated chemicals can migrate from everyday plastic packaging into our food, and ultimately, into us! As the conversation around microplastics and human health gets significantly louder, we believe curiosity comes with responsibility. At Notpla, tackling plastic pollution has always been the mission. But with the upcoming Plastic Detox documentary bringing this issue into the mainstream, awareness is reaching a tipping point.
