Behind every winter market is a complex food operation, making thousands of impactful decisions ππ΄
At the iconic Winter Wonderland, that means multiple street food vendors, bars and restaurants serving huge volumes in a short seasonal window, all while keeping service fast and standards high.
This year, alongside Peppermint Bars & Events, we worked with food vendors across the site to integrate seaweed-based, plastic-free coated packaging into real, high-pressure operations.
Peppermint has been involved with Winter Wonderland for over five years and operates three street food markets, three bars and a fondue restaurant. That scale means their packaging choices reach thousands of customers every day, shaping how traders think about materials, waste and supply chains far beyond a single event.
Whatβs been most encouraging is the ripple effect: traders asking questions, doing their own research, and starting to see how small material decisions add up.
