In this short update, Monika, our Country Director for Lebanon and Syria, shares what she and her team are seeing on the ground right now. Lebanon is heavily affected. Evacuations are underway across much of southern Lebanon, with families leaving their homes and seeking shelter wherever they can. Many people are staying in schools or with relatives, while thousands still lack adequate shelter and basic necessities. In just the past two days, around 10,000 people have crossed from Lebanon into Syria, placing additional strain on already fragile communities and services on both sides of the border. Tensions are rising across the region.
