Every year, our photo competition goes beyond celebrating photography — it celebrates the beauty of our continent and the environmental challenges we can overcome together. The 2026 theme, “Resilient by Nature,” invites citizens to capture how Europe’s ecosystems sustain life, face pressures, and recover. From thriving wetlands and forests, areas reshaped by floods or wildfires, to wildlife adapting to changing landscapes or people restoring nature, we want to see the many ways resilience unfolds. Photos can be submitted under three categories: - Harmony - Disruption - Renewal The competition is open from 18 May to 10 August 2026 and the winners will be announced on 9 October.
