La lontra europea è anche una prova vivente del principio alla base del #rewilding: la natura, se protetta, sa tornare da sé. Dopo decenni di assenza, questa specie sta lentamente riconquistando molte aree da cui era scomparsa. La sua presenza nell’Appennino Centrale è un segnale incoraggiante di fiumi più sani e di ecosistemi fluviali in ripresa. In questo video una lontra ripresa dalle nostre fototrappole. After decades of absence, the species is slowly reclaiming areas where it had disappeared. Its presence in the Central Apennines is an encouraging sign of healthier rivers and recovering freshwater ecosystems. This video shows an otter recorded by our camera traps.
