Girls as young as 10 years old in Bangladesh are at risk of child marriage, but caring supporters like you are equipping dads like Dil to protect their daughters. “We used to think that the sooner a daughter could be married off, the better,” says Dil. But thanks to generous supporters powering workshops for girls, boys, parents, and community leaders, he says: “We came to know that child marriage is bad.” Now he’s helping other parents see why “girls should study and get the opportunity to build their lives beautifully.” Dil says: “If organizations like Food for the Hungry continue to work like this, people in the area will be completely transformed and as a result, child marriage will be stopped.” Thank you for empowering dads like Dil to keep girls safe and end child marriage in their communities!
