At Plan International Nepal, safeguarding means creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for every child and program participant. 💙 Program participants are sharing what protection, trust, and safety mean to them. For Priti, safeguarding means trust and having the confidence to learn, participate, and speak up without fear. Smarika reminds us that every child and program participant deserves a safe and protected experience where their age, gender, caste, religion, and background are respected. Roshani shares that knowing there are safe and confidential reporting channels makes her feel protected and supported. And for girls from Kalikot, safeguarding is a shared responsibility where everyone has a role in creating a safe environment.
