As our planet warms and heat and humidity events get more intense and frequent, the air conditioners that we rely on to provide comfort in fact become energy guzzlers and strain the power grids. At Mumbai Climate Week 2026, RMI and CEPT University co-organized a session to discuss why future air conditioners should be designed to deliver both comfort and energy efficiency.
