The Indonesia Sustainable Energy Week: Sulawesi Region took place successfully on 29-30 October 2025, with over 300 participants coming together to exchange ideas at the forum titled, "Transforming Power, Empowering Communities for Sulawesi's Clean Energy Transition." Co-organised by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, the Ministry of National Development Planning, GIZ Indonesia/ASEAN, and in collaboration with the Faculty of Engineering at Universitas Hasanuddin, ISEW Goes Regional brought together academics, policymakers, private sector professionals, and the people of Sulawesi to accelerate the island's energy transition, aligning local goals with national objectives. The first day focused on gathering key insights through high-level discussions, while the second day emphasised increasing student and academic engagement, recognising the importance of preparing future generations for the energy transition. With this, the 2025 ISEW Goes Regional series has come to a close! We look forward to seeing you at ISEW 2026!
