On 7 May 2026, the delegation of UN Palestinian Rights Committee held a press conference organized by the United Nations Regional Information Centre for Western Europe (UNRIC) in Brussels, during which members of the delegation reviewed the latest developments in the Occupied Palestinian Territory and the diplomatic efforts under way to mobilize international support for protecting the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people, ending the Israeli occupation, and realizing the independent State of Palestine on the borders of 4 June 1967.
