After years working at sea as a fishing laborer, Souheng returned home to Kep province in search of a better life. Inspired by his mother’s small chicken business, he turned to poultry farming — determined to build a stable income close to his family. 🐔 Through the CO-SAVED project, implemented by Heifer Cambodia and Aide et Action (AEA) with support from the European Union, Heng learned poultry management and chick breeding. Today, he supplies up to 300 chicks a month and supports local fishing community members to build their own livelihoods. 🌱
