The Ministry of Environment and GGGI Jordan hosted a Public-Private Dialogue as part of the Private Sector Engagement Roadmap to Enable Access to Climate Finance. This session, held in 2023, brought together over 50 representatives from the public sector, private sector, academia, and civil society to strengthen collaboration and accelerate climate-responsive investments in Jordan. The dialogue was chaired by Eng. Bilal Al-Shaqareen, Director of Climate Change and Green Economy at the Ministry of Environment. Participants discussed the critical role of private sector research, development, and technology capabilities in enabling access to climate finance and supporting sustainable projects.
