The Ministry of Environment in Jordan, in collaboration with the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI), hosted a Public-Private Climate Finance Dialogue in Q4 2023, bringing together more than 50 representatives from the public sector, private sector, and academia. The dialogue aimed to mobilize private investment in priority climate projects in Jordan and strengthen collaboration between sectors to accelerate climate action. During the event, H.E. Dr. Mohammad Khashashneh, Secretary General of the Ministry of Environment, emphasized the pivotal role of the private sector in achieving Jordan’s climate ambitions and highlighted the importance of strengthening public–private partnerships to advance sustainable development.
