Jordan’s 3rd High-Level Forum on E-Mobility | Driving the Future of Clean Transport

GGGI Jordan proudly convened the 3rd edition of the High-Level Forum on E-Mobility, marking a key step in accelerating Jordan’s transition toward clean and sustainable transport. The Forum brought together government representatives, international partners, financial institutions, and private sector stakeholders to advance financing solutions for electric buses, with a focus on sustainable tourism transport. Organized by the Ministry of Environment in partnership with GGGI and UNIDO, and co-chaired by the Ministries of Environment, Transport, and Energy & Mineral Resources, the discussions covered financing mechanisms, regulatory frameworks, taxation and incentives, standardization, charging infrastructure, and risk-reduction strategies to attract private sector investment. Highlights included remarks from GGGI Executive Director Sang-Hyup Kim, UNIDO Country Representative Sulafa Madanat, and Dr. Jihad Alsawair, Advisor to the Minister of Environment, emphasizing the importance of decarbonizing transport, linking climate action to economic growth, and scaling up electric bus solutions. The Forum underscored opportunities to mobilize climate and green finance, strengthen public-private collaboration, and move from pilot projects to scalable, bankable electric mobility solutions, supporting Jordan’s Economic Modernization Vision and national climate commitments. #EMobility #ElectricBuses #GreenTransport #SustainableMobility #Jordan #ClimateAction #GreenFinance #PublicPrivatePartnerships #GGGI #UNIDO #CleanTransport #Decarbonization #SustainableTourism #PolicyReform #EnergyTransition #FutureOfMobility #Innovation #ClimateSolutions
