Scaling Up Resilient, Green, and Affordable Housing in Grenada in Support of Project 500
The Eastern Caribbean stands on the front lines of climate vulnerability, where increasingly severe storms and flooding threaten homes, livelihoods, and entire communities.
Responding to this urgent challenge, the Scaling-Up Resilient, Green, and Affordable Housing in the Eastern Caribbean Countries programme, led by the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI), is supporting action across Grenada, Saint Lucia, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines to deliver technical expertise which will help housing sector be more resilient, more affordable, and environmentally sustainable.
Building on national momentum, the programme leverages technical expertise, capacity building, and innovative financing to accelerate climate-resilient housing development.
This session highlighted Grenada’s Project 500, showcasing its progress and the targeted support GGGI is providing in partnership with the Government of Grenada to advance resilient, green housing solutions. The Scaling-Up Resilient, Green, and Affordable Housing in the Eastern Caribbean is supported by ADF and Government of Ireland.
