UNICEF Venezuela contributes to the cold chain of +130 communities in the country

"Vaccines don't hurt and protect me from the disease," José, 6 years old. For children like José to receive their vaccines in optimal conditions, UNICEF, in coordination with authorities, has delivered more than 130 units of solar refrigerators to 130 remote communities in Venezuela's 24 states, including 25 indigenous communities. This strategy already benefits more than 1.6 million children under 10 years of age and more than 390,000 pregnant women.
