Happy European 112 Day! Strengthening the Lifeline: One Number, Every Emergency
Happy European 112 Day! 🇪🇺📞
On 11 February, we mark European 112 Day, raising awareness of the single European emergency number that connects citizens to life-saving assistance across Europe.
In Montenegro, 112 operates 24/7 through the Operational Communication Centre 112, ensuring rapid coordination in emergencies, from everyday incidents to disasters such as floods, earthquakes, and wildfires.
The community is a critical component of disaster preparedness and resilience.
Strengthening emergency communication systems and public awareness contributes directly to improved disaster risk management, faster response times, and safer communities.
