Insights from the Lloyd's Register Foundation World Risk Poll

The Lloyd's Register Foundation's Director of Evidence and Insight, Dr. Sarah Cumbers, present the findings, and their implications for policymakers and stakeholders working to improve resilience will be discussed. Sponsored by the Territorial and Spatial Development GSG and the Resilience and Disaster Risk Management GSG, this event is designed to explore how TTLs can use the Poll's result to inform policy dialogue and operational work. ABOUT THE GLOBAL FACILITY FOR DISASTER REDUCTION AND RECOVERY (GFDRR) is a global partnership that helps low- and lower-middle-income countries better understand and reduce their vulnerabilities to natural hazards and adapt to climate change. GFDRR provides grant financing, technical assistance, training and knowledge sharing activities to mainstream disaster and climate risk management in national and regional policies, strategies, and investment plans.
