Ocean Governance in the Wider Caribbean: Lessons from ACP MEAs III

Our Ocean is our lifeline but it’s also under threat. 

This video showcases how the ACP MEAs III project has strengthened ocean governance across the Wider Caribbean by:
-Tackling oil spills and land-based pollution
-Conserving biodiversity and supporting marine protected areas
-Building partnerships across governments, communities, and youth

As we approach the 18th Conference of Parties to the Cartagena Convention (COP18) in October 2025, these lessons remind us why protecting our shared seas is vital for future generations.
