14,434 Tons out of a Million: Measuring UNDP support for demolition of damaged buildings
Since 2022, UNDP has supported the demolition of over 1,600 destroyed buildings, enabling the safe removal of nearly one million tonnes of debris. Over four years of full-scale war, UNDP teams have met residents across Ukraine during demolition work. Their stories differ but share a common issue – the amount of debris that has to be cleared.
