🙏Welcome to UN-Habitat Nepal 🙏 📊 2025 at a Glance This year, our work advanced across 4 major priority areas, delivered through 7 key portfolio projects, strengthening cities and communities across Nepal. • Land tenure security strengthened in the Deukhuri Valley of Dang through formal identification, land surveying, and issuance of land ownership certificates • Partnered with 7 municipalities to support regulatory reform and institutional strengthening of City-Wide Inclusive Sanitation • Final review of the Municipal Urban Planning Guideline and National Urban Development Framework with wider stakeholders • Initiated construction of 10 prefabricated structures, and restoration of 25 community infrastructure and 10 common facility & market centres in Jajarkot and West Rukum • Developed key knowledge products, including technical support in Thematic Census Report on Urbanization and Development The United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) is mandated by the UN General Assembly to promote socially and environmentally sustainable towns and cities.
