Access to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene is essential for quality health care. In Belize, UNICEF is working closely with the Ministry of Rural Transformation, Community Development, Labour and Local Government, and partners to improve WASH services in health facilities across the country. In the Stann Creek District, we supported critical upgrades to the water infrastructure at the Pomona Satellite Clinic, helping to ensure safer, cleaner conditions for patients, health workers, and communities. Together, we are building healthier systems for every child.
