At the webinar, MSF teams presented the data from the report, TACTIC: Test, Avoid, Cure TB in Children that surveyed in 14 countries* looking into national policies in diagnosing, preventing and treating tuberculosis (TB) in children, progress towards their implementation, and challenges being faced by the countries in this process. Country experiences were also shared by MSF about progress made so far and remaining gaps in childhood TB treatment and care policies and practices in Sierra Leone and Philippines.. Experts from WHO, national tuberculosis programs and community also shared their views about the opportunities and challenges to solve the gaps in pediatric TB policies and implementation. * the surveyed countries are: Afghanistan, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Guinea, India, Mozambique, Niger, Nigeria, Pakistan, the Philippines, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Sudan and Uganda
