Christopher Henderson is an Education in Emergencies Specialist at the Geneva Graduate Institute's NORRAG Global Education Center. He has also been a Doctoral Fellow at Teachers College, Columbia University, and an AC4 Fellow at Columbia University's Climate School. His research is focused on the mental health, motivation, and well-being of refugee and host-community teachers working in settings of forced displacement. He has worked with a number of organizations including UNHCR, UNESCO, The World Bank, and Sesame Workshop to engage local partners and design technical guidance to strengthen school systems and teachers' work in crisis contexts.
