Ms Arizza Ann Nocum is a global peace advocate committed to educating, empowering, and inspiring young people towards a more peaceful world. She is the Co-Founder and President of KRIS for Peace, a non-profit organization that promotes peace through education and youth leadership in the Philippines. Since its establishment in 2008, KRIS has generated at least $5 million in estimated impact; trained over 1,000 young leaders in the Philippines; provided seed grants to nearly 40 youth organizations to jumpstart their projects for peace; and reached millions through its information campaigns and publications. With the launch of the Champions for Peace Programme in 2024, KRIS is set to expand its work to four more countries in Asia. Arizza is also involved in global efforts to promote peace as one of ten young leaders hand-picked by the former United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan to form the international Extremely Together alliance, which works to prevent violent extremism and promote peace globally.
