This webinar brings together prosecutors, law enforcement professionals, and experts to discuss how systemic discrimination affects children in conflict with the law and to explore rights-based alternatives to pre-trial detention. The discussion highlights the need to integrate a children’s rights-based approach into justice systems, prioritising prevention, reintegration, and non-custodial measures over institutionalisation.
