Art March!

Art March!

Looking back at 𝐀𝐬𝐢𝐚 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐨𝐧𝐠'𝐬 𝐀𝐫𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡—a week filled with arts, inspiring conversations, and gatherings at Asia Society and across Hong Kong. We opened 𝙃𝙪𝙣𝙜 𝙃𝙨𝙞𝙚𝙣: 𝘽𝙚𝙩𝙬𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙𝙨, with the 92-year-old artist joining us alongside friends, family, former students, and colleagues. Her reunion with 𝐋𝐢𝐮 𝐊𝐮𝐨-𝐬𝐮𝐧𝐠 marked a true meeting of ink art legends. A particularly memorable moment: Hung Hsien meeting her former student 𝐊𝐮𝐫𝐭 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧 after more than 40 years. Also present was artist 𝐏𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐲𝐮 𝐖𝐚𝐢, whom Kurt later taught at CUHK—a rare gathering of three generations, beautifully reflecting the legacy and continuity of ink art in Hong Kong. Alongside the exhibition, we hosted four engaging 𝐀𝐫𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐟𝐚𝐬𝐭 sessions. Thank you to all who joined. We also completed another successful year of cultural partnership with 𝐀𝐫𝐭 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐥 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐨𝐧𝐠, with sincere gratitude to Professor 𝐙𝐡𝐨𝐮 𝐉𝐢𝐧 of CUHK and his students for their live ink art demonstrations at our booth. 🔗Learn more about our upcoming events. https://tinyurl.com/48nrrxa7
