Tung (𝑉𝑒𝑟𝑛𝑖𝑐𝑖𝑎 𝑚𝑜𝑛𝑡𝑎𝑛𝑎), a wood-oil tree species, has long been woven into the lives of the Pa Ko and Van Kieu ethnic minority people. It is part of their daily lives and their hopes for a better future. Through a linkage model initiated by WWF-Viet Nam in 2025, Tung seeds have been officially exported for the first time, opening a new pathway for sustainable livelihoods linked to forest conservation and biodiversity protection.
