Climate change is already affecting our health, from more frequent forest fires to higher potential of dengue outbreaks. In Indonesia, Jambi Province is pioneering the implementation of Desa/Kelurahan Sehat Iklim (Climate-Healthy Villages, or DEKSI), a community-based initiative that helps villages adapt and stay healthy in a changing climate. With local leadership and cross-sector support, Jambi shows how small steps can make a big difference for our future.
