Trafficking in Persons is an organized crime that takes place both within a country and across borders. It is an offence that affects anyone irrespective of their age, gender, social status, and level of education. Trafficking can lead to different forms of exploitation, including, but not limited to, forced labour, sexual exploitation, organ removal, forced begging, and most recently trafficking for forced criminality.
Join us as IOM Sri Lanka's National Celebrity Ms. Umali Thilakarathna shares a cautionary tale on human trafficking.
