On Wednesday, February 4, 2026, the UXO/Demining Caucus hosted an event discussing demining and U.S. National Security to bring attention to the amazing work being done to rid the world of landmines. Event attendees heard remarks from caucus co-chair Rep. Chrissy Houlahan, and also welcomed remarks from the State Department Bureau of Political-Military Affairs, Mines Advisory Group (MAG), and PeaceTrees Vietnam.
