Investing in life-saving harm reduction - Autumn CND intersessional meeting 2025

Sweeping cuts to international development aid in 2025 have had a devastating impact on harm reduction services, civil society advocacy, community-led responses, and global research efforts. UN agencies have also been significantly affected. This event brought together member states, UN bodies, donors, and civil society partners to share perspectives on the crisis, highlight urgent funding and policy needs, and create space for reaffirming political and financial commitments to the global harm reduction response.
