If you only design solutions with the same group of voices, they will collapse when reality changes 🤯 🌱 Just like our bodies need a variety of nutrients, our landscapes and communities need a rich mix of perspectives, skills, and stories to thrive. In this interview, Dieter Van den Broeck talks about why we need diversity, based on the paper "Spaces of Belonging" written by Commonland in collaboration with Presencing Institute. 🏋🏽‍♂️ But Dieter goes a step further: he highlights the need for ‘redundancy’ in the system – the idea of including people and perspectives that may not seem “relevant” right now, but whose relevance will become clear in the future.
