Winsiga Ndumva Programme - USAID/ATscale Visit

The Winsiga Ndumva programme aims to improve ear and hearing care through collaborations with the Rwanda Biomedical Center, local government, and disability organizations. Initially piloted in four districts, Winsiga Ndumva has expanded to nine districts as of 2024. The programme focuses on providing audiology equipment, digital hearing aids, training health providers, and integrating services into local health systems. It has trained over 130 health providers, oriented thousands of community health workers, and supported children with hearing impairments. Winsiga Ndumva represents a significant step in Rwanda's efforts to enhance disability services and improve quality of life for those with hearing impairments.
