A short clip on land restoration, forest conservation, and community-led solutions in India.
Some summers stay with us forever: The smell of wet earth. Birds at dawn. Forests that feel alive.
Across India, these landscapes are slowly changing. Forests are thinning, wildlife is disappearing, and land that once sustained communities is being degraded. What is being lost is not only trees or soil, but livelihoods, memories, and a sense of belonging.
This film follows a journey from memory to action.
As millions of hectares of land face degradation, people on the ground are rethinking what restoration really means. Beyond planting trees, this is about bringing ecosystems back to life where science meets traditional knowledge, and local communities lead the way.
Through real places and real people, the film explores how damaged landscapes can begin to heal and what that healing means for those who depend on the land.
Stay with us as the forest has a story to tell.
