Global Conclave on Direct Seeded Rice - 2025
The IRRI South Asia Regional Centre in Varanasi proudly hosted a global conclave on Direct Seeded Rice (DSR) from 05–07 October 2025, bringing together more than 300 national and international experts. Over three days, participants engaged in high-level discussions on strategies to accelerate the large-scale adoption of DSR technologies across South Asia and beyond.
The event also marked the 150th anniversary of the Department of Agriculture, Government of Uttar Pradesh, and was honored by the presence of Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath.
