Solar Dryer Seaweed: Improving Post-Harvest Quality and Community Income

Challenges arise when unpredictable weather disrupts the drying process and reduces harvest quality. To address this, Kopernik and the local community co-designed a drying house equipped with temperature sensors and a solar-powered exhaust system. This facility helps maintain consistent drying conditions and enables farmers to continue processing their harvest even during unfavorable weather.
