Vepaiamele Grace Trief is a 16-year-old Ni-Vanuatu writer and climate advocate. She originally wrote My Testimony for the People’s Museum for Climate Change in The Hague, during wider discussions around the International Court of Justice’s advisory opinion on climate change. In October 2025, we welcomed Vepaiamele to our panel on the implications of the Court’s advisory opinion, where she also recited My Testimony.
